Head of Global Accounts (DSP) based in Toronto or REMOTE

Our client is a fast growing San Francisco and Toronto-based mobile app advertisement start-up powered by artificial intelligence technology. They are looking for a leader to manage some of the largest global accounts and to help the csm team to become more effective and efficient.
• Setup new Advertisers and accounts as needed
• Setup and maintain credits for advertisers. Check credits periodically to ensure the budgets allocated to advertisers are properly reflected
• Uploading creatives as part of the new campaign setup or creative refresh for existing advertisers
• Review daily reports and prepare analysis for account managers
• Prepare month end billing report
• Manage exchanges inventory/billing discrepancies periodically
• When new campaigns go live or new creatives are added to existing campaigns, monitor the creatives to ensure they are getting impressions and clicks to eliminate any tech issues. Always keep track of checking this task off to reflect it in the campaign launch doc
• Ensure all MMP links are setup properly and are working
• Optimization
• Run analysis on campaigns for optimization at creative, exchange, site and placement level, etc
• Troubleshoot creatives and campaigns as needed. Sometimes this involves testing on different devices
• Provide insight or feedback to account managers on what is working well on accounts and what is not
• Work closely with data analyst and provide feedback on issues identified and work closely with them to gain insights for optimization
• Help brainstorm tactics/strategies to apply on accounts
• Provide reports/analysis upon ad-hoc request from the accounts manager
• Analyze data (where available) on the exchange side to gain insights on how to further optimize the buys
Requirements
• Direct experience with user acquisition for mobile app installations
• Managed a minimum book of business of $250K+ USD/month
• Experience of working in an advertising agency as Media Planner / Buyer will be preferred
• Possess a solid understanding of ad fraud, media metrics, campaign tracking, and optimization
• Ability to understand and verbalize technical language required to perform vendor integrations
• Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• Strong relationship building skills - Outgoing, well-spoken, professional, friendly and courteous
• Self motivated and proactive - Not afraid to pick up the phone
• Strong decision making, problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
