Fully Remote Operations Manager Ecommerce

Key Responsibilities

As a critical part of the operations team, you will be at the forefront of managing and improving the business processes:

Financial & Performance Management

  • Monitor key financial metrics daily (e.g., ROAS, profit margins, refunds) and address any discrepancies.
  • Produce accurate reports to support decision-making and track performance.
  • Ensure alignment of fulfilment costs, supplier billing, and ad spend with overall profit goals.

Fulfilment & Supplier Coordination

  • Collaborate with fulfilment agents to track quotes, ensure smooth order processing, and monitor product quality.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any fulfilment or stock issues to avoid disruptions.

Team Coordination & Support

  • Serve as the communication bridge between the CEO and the broader team (including customer service, fulfilment, and marketing).
  • Regularly review trends with the Customer Service Team Lead, optimising refund processes and resolution times.
  • Work with both in-house teams and marketing agencies to assess performance and suggest improvements.

Process Optimisation & Problem-Solving

  • Continuously analyse operational workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in fulfilment, reporting, or team processes, and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for key business processes.

Requirements

Plus

  • 2+ years of e-commerce experience
  • 2+ years in operations or management roles
  • Familiarity with Shopify
  • Strong financial knowledge, including tracking profitability, margins, and cost structures
  • Experience managing suppliers, fulfillment, or logistics (especially in e-commerce)
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and data reporting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and recommend improvements
  • Proven experience managing teams and workflows to keep operations smooth
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, especially in a remote setting
  • Availability to work in CET time zone so preferable EU based
