Fully Remote Media Buyer – Mobile Apps

Job description

As a Media Buyer for Mobile Applications, your primary responsibility will be to drive high-value user acquisition through strategic campaigns. You will focus on optimising and executing plans aimed at increasing app installations and boosting user engagement. Close collaboration with internal teams will ensure each campaign delivers measurable, impactful results. Success in this role will be defined by the volume of quality app installs and user retention.

Core Responsibilities

  • User Acquisition Strategy Development: Create data-driven acquisition strategies to drive users to download and engage with the mobile app.

  • Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Design, implement, and optimise media campaigns across various channels, including social media, search engines, display networks, content marketing, and influencer partnerships, to drive installs and engagement.

  • Ongoing Campaign Optimisation: Use A/B testing methods and optimise conversion funnels to maximise ROI, guided by data-backed decision-making.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Leverage analytics tools to assess campaign effectiveness, track user behaviour, and extract actionable insights to improve performance.

  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, and creative teams to align acquisition strategies with product updates and promotional efforts.

  • Staying Current with Industry Developments: Keep up to date with emerging trends, new technologies, and shifting platforms in the mobile acquisition space.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mobile app media buying.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels, including paid social, search advertising, programmatic ad campaigns, and influencer marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with app install campaigns, particularly on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Apple Search Ads, and mobile ad networks.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Firebase, or similar mobile measurement platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of user acquisition funnels and A/B testing.
  • A data-driven approach to performance analysis and decision-making.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in user acquisition for gaming or entertainment apps.
  • Familiarity with incentivised app install tactics, especially in the gaming sector.
  • Knowledge of mobile retention and engagement strategies.
